Event Id 1008 Asp.net
Comments: EventID.Net This event may occur for various applications. I came in last night to run a series of updates... Then also took the opportunity to do the same for the v2.0 folder. Since the file is corrupted, the registry will contain incorrect information after NNTP installation. Microsoft has an automated solution - Performance Counter Rebuild Wizard (PCRW), however you have to call tech support to get it.
