Failed To Connect To App Server Os Err=10061

This is the accepted answer. Ignored it a couple of times and it kept on happening. We have IIS using Websphere plugin. In the plugin log I see this error:Code: ERROR: ESI: esiResponsePassThru: failed to write headers: rc If the Java process for the app server isrunning and the plug-in can not connect, take a thread dump. server1 comes up and original requests go back to server1 If this is not occurring, then you have an issue. We have not changed anything.I think the app server is busy processing something, but I don't know how todump the thread and the admin console have no response when the app in should just be xxx.yyy.com .in fact 'xxxx.corp.yyy.com' doesn't resolve in the browser. So I am thinking that's the issue.

The host should be reachable but I am not sure. Session replication memory-to-memory is configured(replication mode: both client and server, replication domain: entire domain). The host should be reachable but I am not sure. After start this cluster member, this part of JSESSIONID (here "0020") start increment again (next good request - JSESSIONID=0021M7i8Z7itJqvyV7rTJruQm-I:HCCCUE6D4:27PVJVV8LT) and application works fine.

Though, I am not sure why the first request would work if first server is stopped.
